These people call several times a day, sometimes twice in a row. I do not pick up any calls from numbers I do not know. When I called the number back, it says it is some sort of directory assistance.I just filed a complaint at donotcall.gov, hopefully if more people do this, they can stop them

I just got call on my cell from 800-555-1212, I ignored, no message was left and this is not a first time... Who is give a way our cell phone #'s ? Phone Companies?

I have received several phone calls from this 800-555-1212 number. They say they are from my magazine subscription company and that they want to remove my account from the automatic renewal that is set to happen soon. Unfortunately, they keep insisting that I owe more money and that they are authorized to offer me a reduced rate on the remaining balance of my subscription, even though I have already paid. They will not remove the automatic renewal unless I agree to the reduce rate and give my credit card information to them, which I refuse to do. I also asked for their customer service phone number and when I called the number, it was not in service.

they just called me and i thought it was this rock climbing company that i gave my phone number to so i called back and some robot voice told me to say the name of the directory that i wanted..i hope it doesnt keep happening.

It wont stop calling me, along with another 612 number, It's pissing me off and there's no response then it hangs up. It's making me want to change my number.

I have been getting phone calls from 1-866-830-7473 for the last month and they call 6 or 8 times a day weather i talk to them or not they dont leave a message when i answer the phone i am on hold listening to music then when someone actually is on the other end they ask for my husband and he has talked to them about 20 times they are trying to get money out of him (that wont happen lol)so they called me again today and i ask for there manager and she said that she cant call her ?? what ever that means so i hung up and called the number back and the voice recording gave me 1800-555-1212 to call and it said it was a verison conferance call number ?? i dont know how to get these guys to stop phoning here ? i have tried yelling at them and tried not answering the phone whent hey call but it is getting very annoing ..... so i would like to warm ppl about the other number as well dont give them any personal info !!!!!

They're spoofing their caller id number, as this number is directory assistance and wouldn't be used by scammers to call people.

I have charges saying that I called the number and never did. The phone company charged me for these calls I never made.

I called 800.555.1212 Three times, and go that was is no answer. and I was hung up on. I also tried 411 and got the same thing.
