this number keeps calling.....when we answer they say NOTHING....but a recording comes on to say "thank you for holding while we assist other customers".....how rude! I don't owe anyone anything.....not sure WHY they're calling our home, but will NOT get anywhere with me by calling and putting ME on hold!
Sleep Management Solutions. Not a debt collector, not a telemarketer. CB number is 888-892-0547. I know who this is, not a bogus phone number. My husband has a CPAP and this is associated with the service that monitors his machine, could be through Cigna directly.
long wait then recording gave a name and said she was from account services but didn't identify any company
This is supposed to be a "courtesy call" (whatever that means) from CareCentrix. I received an invoice from them for deducible/co-pay and WITHIN DAYS they started with these relentless and harassing calls. They ask for personally identifiable information although they do not offer any sort of proof they are who they say they are. How can you be sure you're speaking with a legitimate person from this company and not a scammer? In any event, while it seems harmless, it is at best annoying and obnoxious. Wonder why health care costs as much as it does? Its to pay for wasteful and useless practices such as this!
It is Carecentrix. I have a payment plan setup with them, and they were calling to offer 20% off if I could pay it in full now. Not a scam.
Claims to be from Florida hospital. When I contacted Florida Hospital directly, they said they do not use 1-800 numbers
Care Centrix. Left a 888 number to call on my voicemail. Called them back and they made a reduced offer for me to pay off my medical bill. It was well worth it and now I'm debt free with them! Yea!
This is a medical related collection company. They violate all of the fair debt collection and Dodd Frank laws, including contacting family members over and over. Medical debt collection is the worst, as their services are overpriced to begin with, they mostly paid by insurance, but they want every last penny, even after the patient has died.
