I have been receiving calls from this number 2X or 3X a day. I have a mortgage with Wells Fargo and I have been in contact with them when ever I have a problem but I still receive these calls daily. Is there anything I can do to stop this annoying problem?
Same thing. I recieved a voice mail at work stating to call that number. I called them and got to a rude guy. I told him I wouldn't give him my account or social and that he should have it since he had my work number. He then hung up. I then called the actual Wells Fargo and spoke with a person in the Home Mortgage department. She was very nice and confirmed that I didn't have a mortgage with them.
Unless you do not have a business relationship with them, there is nothing you can do.I was getting telemarketing calls from Bank of America for three months after I closed my account with them and there was nothing I could do because, according to the FCC, this was legal. In other words, these mighty corporations have us by the __________.
I got a call from them, the same 612 and 800 numbers as above. I tend to believe it is phoney and thought I would google the #. I am going to delete the number and go on w/life.
I know Wells Fargo has no business calling me, so I looked it up this number on the WEB and everyone reports this number as Phishing... Sad thing is I know plenty of people that have given out info to created things like passwords for these phonies that have eventually ended in identity theft....
