The number is Wells Fargo Mortgage - they call if you are late on your payment anything after the 1st of the month, and if you only paid partial..... The number is real and it is on my mortgage papers..... so many in denial ???? lol

This is the number Wells Fargo Home Mortgage leaves to call them back when Mortgage payment is late. The number appearing on my caller ID is 612-312-8585.

Ever cross your mind that a person could be listed as a co-signor on a loan or the number given may be wrong? THAT would be why you have to call a number back to verify it's not YOUR loan. Keep laughing - obviously they called you otherwise you wouldn't have to look up this number. Hmmm...

have received a call from 1-800-678-7986 and one from 1- 612-312-8585, with several hours between calls, this is NOT a residence address this is a FEDERAL GOVERMENT OFFICE!You can stop calling and it's a forgotten matter, or if you continue to call our Law Enforcement folks would be more than happy to have the US Attorney General call and explain in detail why calling our number IS NOT a good business practice! You probably want option one, just stop calling our office. Option two is not a pleasant process, and your people will not be happy to be on the other end of a call from the Attorney Generals office! I can absolutly assure you our agency DOES NOT HAVE a morgage through your company!

This scam is still working hard! Received 2 phone calls this week from Wells Fargo Mortgage saying there was a mortgage on the home of a recently deceased family member. NOT. The 1-800-678-7986 was given. They asked that pertinent information regarding the so-called mortgage be sent to them in order to speak about the mortgage information. Hey, folks Beware! Besides, it is Their responsibility to Prove they are owed. Do Not give out or fax info. Our local law enforcement has been contacted about this situation.

Someone in your office must have given your number as a work number. This is the wells fargo home mortgage collections dept. Why don't you ask your employees to not be such deadbeats.
