MediCredit is a debt collection agency that collects on behalf of several hospitals. The only way the company gets an account is if the hospital places the account in collections. Yes, I am an employee with MC. We are required to ask for information to verify we reached the correct person so we do not violate FDCPA and HIPAA. I agree, there are some employees that can be rude. However, there are employees, such as myself, that are actually nice. Just take the time to speak with us, and if there're any doubts contact the hospital to verify we're legit.
Remove me from your call list or if you are legitimate, contact me via snail mail.
calls but does not leave a voice mail message
Why should I pay a bill collector when I CAN pay THE HOSPITAL JUST AS EASY AND DID SEND ONE PAYMENT TO THE HOSPITAL
Received this call and I answered but soon hung up after it said medicredit1. haven't been to the hospital in over 3 years2. I've heard of medicredit scamsoh well im sure they will call again.
Bottom feeder debt collectors- they do NOT show their identity. Wonder why????? (NOT!)
Have gotten two messages, one yesterday and one today...the voicemail on my cellphone says it is Medicredit calling on behalf of Colorado Plains Medical Center. I haven't been in Colorado for almost 50 years and live in Ohio. If this isn't a scam, what is. A lousy one, too, if they are calling an Ohio number with a Colorado bill?
Why can these calls not be blocked I have tried repeatedly and over fifty blocked numbers. Can our government do anything to stop this harassment or the bigger question. They probably do not care at all. I doubt seriously if there is one person in congress or the White House who gives a flying fooloogle if the average working person has to deal with this continual harassment. The callers are doing something they are paid to do and are not probablybad people but their bosses will rot in hell sooner not later I hope. Maybe there is a senator or congressman who will understand their constituents are not all horrible debt ridden people. And these predators need to be stopped. I doubt it but if I was one of these people and I commited a crime against my brethren or society I would probably walk away a free exonerated man. That's what we live for. But love and peace to our veterans and their families
I also have had numerous calls from collection companies (SpeedyOne, OnLineCash, etc) that Swear that I have received payment from one or more of these companies and checking my bank accounts and sending documentation, means nothing...they just sell the 'debt' to another even worse collection company. Now receiving phone calls stating my application has been approved for auto deposit into my bank account for $800 - $1500. Never, ever have applied for an online payday loan. Either ID theft of another scam.

Received 2 calls/voicemails on 10/22/25 from different people at this number claiming to be with Fortitude Assistance and Fortitude Systems re: possible jobs in IT departments. Sounds questionable. I'm not in that industry so makes no sense.
This number had my name, address, and the amount of money I owed for a medical procedure (but had already paid) and said they were calling to collect it before it went to court. I told her I'd do it online, and low and behold I have already paid it.
been getting a call from this number 18884070407 asking me to pay 407 ETR.

Suspected scam: voice sounded generated; said if notice hasn't been received by mail to call 844-604-2863.
Suspected scam. Voice sounded AI and mentioned a noncompliance notice. Stated if notice not received by mail to call this number.
This phone called yesterday at 11:34.
It started out saying it was a survey. I didn't' listen beyond that, other than to hit 9 to be removed from their call list, then I blocked thr number on my phone.
I was called about 7:50 pm. I hung up when he said my first name. My phone said this is potential scam. I believe that’s correct.
