I received a call from this number today asking for "Shane". No Shane here.. they promised to stop calling... let's see how that turns out. I get multiple different 800 numbers calling asking for different people ALL THE TIME!!! (vent, vent).they seem to be doing a white pages call through to everyone in the book.

Well I just got done with over a months worth of calls from "allied...'. I kept clicking the 'off' button on the phone but one night the ole man decided to answer the call. All this time, this 'company' was looking for 'neverly', our NEIGHBOR. It finally dawned on me~I heard once that if a company can 'target' the building YOU/the creditor, lives in, they call whomever IN such building until someone answers and gives them either what they want, or, the opposite. This happened before many rules and regs popped up to a good friend of mine, and it was told to HER that the company's 'feelers' targeted' the building that the person who OWE(S,D) the $ due to them, that some intel can separate that fact/those facts. So, back to 'now', we gladly informed the company that 'neverly' did indeed live next door....but WE did not own that phone #. Whew, I thought, out of a pan of hot water.... then today I get a call from this phone number (800-900-1380) and I....shut of the ringer. LOL! I ADMIT that some days I HAVEN'T got the stones to dis someone, this IS someones' J O B. But I so wanted to just say pizz off and deal with it! I live in northern NE...not real sure how I got into a 'Penn' billing ag'cy..... I contacted my local legal aid department last year after getting many calls from several collectors, both legit and not...that ag'cy provided me with a cover letter quoting LAWS & #'s etc that it just blew me away. All I had to do was ask for a mailing addy, a central person to cc this to, and TA~DA~~! no more calls.... (this even worked on the company that I DID have business with..... just sayin'! wavin' from chilly New England!

They can call me every day for years and talk to my machine all they want if that is what they are compelled to do with their lives. It doesn't bother me at all. What's with all of these thin skinned easily irritated people anyway? Too many food additives? It takes no more effort to erase their messages than it does to erase any others and I can do it at the same time for efficiency. I will never bother to expend the effort to talk to them and I will never, ever send them a dime for a debt, whether legitimate or not-- Just because they are who they are. If they sue me, I fight them tooth and nail all the way through court with free legal aid, forcing them to waste more time and money. Then I continue to not pay them, in peace and tranquility. If everyone did that, they’d all go out of business. I am the rock upon which they beat themselves bloody. Love to all...

I received a call from them tonight and never received any correspondence from them, I have been contacted by others that were looking for someone else that includes these people. Also the ones contacting me are trying to get money for a false debt(s) or debts that were fraudulent and tried telling that to the credit bureaus and they won't remove the debt, which is not mine but someone elses.

Since the last time I wrote on here they have called my house at least once a day and a few times twice in a day. And I also answered it once and got the options of are you the person press 1 if not the person but you can bring them to the phone press 2, if they are not available press 3 blah blah..but no other options. I have found that they are calling for a person that doesnt live here but I have no way of letting them know this. I tried to call them back even though I had decided I wasnt going to before just because I want them to stop calling me. Well I got another automated message and even if I was the person they want there is no way to talk to a live person about what ever it is they want. This is becoming a nightmare with these people. Im disabled and it takes a lot for me to get to the phone some days so this is especially upsetting to me. I dont owe anyone any money I pay my bills, so this is crazy. Isnt there any way to make them stop? I did report them to the FCC but so far that hasnt done anything. The calls start some days at 7 am too and this is also not right. Im about to pull the phone out of the wall at this point.

How can I get them to leave me alone!!! - they don't even clearly state the name they are looking for.We have never heard of the company they claim to be collecting for. We want them to leave us alone. This is pure garbage. Why can't we block calls?

If you have Comcast Digital Voice, you can screen these types of calls.Works like a charm :)What is Call Screening and how do I use it with my Comcast Digital Voice® service? When you don't want to be interrupted by certain callers, Call Screening allows you to create a list of up to 12 numbers that will receive an announcement indicating you re not presently accepting calls. To use Call Screening:Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.Press *60.A menu of options will guide you in managing this feature. The prompts will enable you to activate and deactivate the feature as well as add, delete, or review the numbers on your list.To cancel Call Screening:Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.Press *80.When prompted press 3 to turn the feature off.Note: When creating your list, enter the area code plus the 7 digit number for both local and domestic long-distance numbers.

I have no idea who this is because they don't leave a message and I can't call the number back, and if I answer the phone they just hang up. If it's a debt collector, I don't know how they expect to collect anything without ever speaking to anyone.
