I just received a call from this company tonight, it was a robo call. The recorded message said to press 1 if I was Jay, I pressed 1 and the recording said that Jay owed $48. Dollars and change on a bill! Then the recording went through a selection of ways to pay the bill or to talk to talk a service rep press 0. I pressed 0 so that I could blast the service rep. when I service rep said "Jay", I said no I’m not Jay and that their company illegally just gave out Jays info, the woman immediately said that they would remove my number and hung up on me. Giving out some ones info is illegal automated or not.

I've had a so called Creditor call my house # while I was on the phone with my Hubby. I over heard the conversation, she claimed to my husband to have been an old friend of mine and wanted to get in contact with me. When I heard the name I told him I don't know anyone by that name. The Fraud called me asap when he gave my #. I didn't answer but I looked up the # which was a cell # from my state but the person from the so called agency was from texas. How legit was that. Thats why I refuse to answer anymore. If they want me and can find my # then they can send me a summons via mail if its legit.

I don't know who these people are, but I'd like for them to stop calling me daily at 8 and 9 pm. As a matter of fact, they need to stop calling period. This is ridiculous. Why call and then never say anything? I am not about to sit around waiting to hear some robot speak, so I hung up.

I am the only person that has had my phone # for over 10 years-some recorded voice has called me for somebody besides myself. how dare you harass me. cease and desist now or i will report you to the FCC.

I setup my own phone system at home using Vitelity & AsteriskNOW. I instaled an app on the Asterisk system called Telemarketer Torture. I then add all the numbers I want to this list & whenever they call, the Telemarketer Torture app answers the phone. This thing starts asking all kinds of questions & wants the caller to press buttons which takes them to other questions. This process is never ending. They eventually decide to hang up. I agree with the Gran on the go's post. At 8pm I'm spending time with my family. I, out of that normal curiosity, called them back, got a cheesy, (yes, I'm from Wisconsin), muzak music and someone finally came on the line and greeted me as Penn whatever...I asked her to repeat it and she did..I asked what the call was regarding, she said 'we handle personal business matters, please hold one moment Ma'am', sounded like she put me on hold when indeed she ended the call...I was a little irritated. I called back to ask them to 'take my name off your list' (which is ALL you have to say, and by law they HAVE to), but no one would pick up...the call just dropped so I can only assume they have caller ID. I'll get 'em. When an unwanted caller calls you for soliciting of any sort just do as I mentioned above and also get your numbers on the do-not-call lists...it really does help..Happy New Year Everyone!

IT IS ABUSIVE! EVERY DAY, 3x PER DAY AS OUR SYSTEM BLOCKS THEM. I AM GOING TO START ANSWERING THE CALLS AND BOYCOTTING THE COMPANIES/CHARITIES USING THEM.

Donna, the people who called you are not the ones running this site. Yelling at them here does no good.However, it is pretty slimy that they call on weekends and holidays.

i just wanted to put my two cents in...they keep calling but i don't know what they are calling about or who they are calling for because i answer and no one is there...i could sit on the phone for 10 minutes (which i did) and still no response...and they call sometimes several times a day!

But when a collector keeps calling for someone that does not live at your address and you don't even know, it is harrassment on their part. And even when it is a bs call that should not be made because the number is on and has been on the Do Not Call registry for many yrs. So when I tell them that they need to stop calling for those reasons and they keep calling anyway, I will report them for harrassment.
