My mother in law recently past and a lady that answers to Ms. Johnson called my husband. She stated that she wanted legal paper work that he was responsible for her finanaces. Of course she never hasa power of attorney over her or anything like that. My husband should not be liable for any of her outstanding bills.
The company I work for has been getting a call from this number asking for someone that DOES work here but, is very rude when told the person cannot be called off their job but a message can be given to them to call back later. The caller will not give us the name of the company they are calling from or what the call is in regards to!

It would be nice if more people would say whom these people are calling for: The person who posted or someone else. I was not completely aware that I should check my state's statue of limitations, but I will do that now. In addition, as I don't want to start over from day one, I won't send any money. As a rule: No one should verify their date of birth or Social Security number over the phone.They call our business, but they never leave a message. For some reason, they call our fax line. The caller ID displays 800 Service, instead of Recovery Professional Services. No wonder they are buying bottom-dollar accounts.Again, thanks for your post.

Called my number and I didn't check caller ID before I answered. I said "hello" and she said "hello" and then she hung up on ME! LOL My caller ID just said "unknown caller". I'm marking their number so I'll make sure to not answer from now on.
I received a call today from 1-800-991-5265. I also did not answer and they did not leave a message. Sounds like same old story...

Left voice mail with sound like a horn.
This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
