We have been getting calls from Bank of America for a while trying to get us to buy extra protection for our credit cards. We have told them no over and over again. Now when we get a call, my husband answers, and if they ask for me he says I'm not here, and of course they won't leave a message. The number that ususally calls is a toll free number. However, today, we did get the 801 257 6155 come up on the caller id. I googled it, and here we are !!! Maybe I'll anwer it next time, and see what happens. I would advise everybody that they DON'T want to give any info out to anyone that calls on the phone. We have a reporter for one of our local stations that looks into things like this. If it keeps up.....I'll see if she wants to get involved.

My MBNA credit card was bought out by B of A. I have had this card for years, and never had any problems. I have also hated B of A for years, going back to when they were NCNB. They have been calling my house for weeks, but usually it comes up as a toll free number. We keep telling them to put us on their do not call list, but they keep calling. I read somewhere that it takes 30 days for that to be effective, and at this point, I'm sure their 30 days are up !!! We just started getting the 801 257 6155 calls a couple of days ago. Being a resident of Charlotte (home of the bank) I have decided to file a claim with the State Attorney General's office, and when they call again, and I'm sure they will, I'm asking to speak to a supervisor !!!!

They are calling me twice a day forever.

Hey no name,That is the lamest excuse I have ever heard. Actually, business is supposed to do things faster than the government. You know, with all the bureaucratic red tape and all. The idea that government does things very slow is a long running joke in many countries at the inefficiencies of government.If the rep puts the number down on the list, you should be able to update your computer list of available phone numbers, immediately. The reason it takes 30 days, is because the FTC allows you A$$es to update your records only every 31 days.Nice try.

Teleperformance is responsible for these calls. You can all return the favor. Teleperformance has a Chairman of the Supervisory Board by the name of Daniel Julien. His office phone line is 786.437.3300 but that will be a toll call. Nice thing is that they purchased a company named Americall Group Inc which they say is "Outbound solutions specialized in the Insurance and Financial Services industries." This Americall Group has an 800 number listed. Just one thing you should know. If you call an 800 number from a pay phone the 35 cent charge is reversed automatically to the owner of the 800 or toll free number. That way the payphone caller is not charged for the call. This could cost Teleperformance/Americall some money so it is best that nobody do this. But if anybody needs to contact Teleperformance/Americall Group they can search the Internet and find any of this out. At least until they delete the information. Please don't call and harass the company even though they have called and harassed you.
