Received a call today. I answered the telephone and nobody said anything. I want my telephone number removed from Western Wats call list.

UNWANTED CALLS

This people just called my work saying they were a bank calling on behalf of my companys name which is very fishy and asking for a customer of mine. A little weird.

I love it when I pick up the phone for a hang-up. Today, It was Western Wats.

Went to their website and this is what I found.........If we have contacted you to complete a questionnaire, your time will be sincerely appreciated. If you prefer not to be contacted, please email us at optout@westernwats.com to be placed on our internal no-contact list. For clarity, the federal do not call list prevents telemarketers from calling registered phone numbers. Western Wats is not a telemarketing firm. The purpose of our telephone calls is not to sell but instead collect your opinions.

We got several calls from these people last night AFTER 9pm. Am I correct in thinking that by law these kinds of calls have to stop before that time? Seriously... 9pm? I called and left a not so nice message on their phone this morning.

WOW i was surprised to find this online! I googled the number not expecting to find anything but this turned up! yeah these phone calls are really annoying .. so all you have to do is to tell them to stop calling?

Ringing - Ringing - Ringing - never a message - just four rings and the answering machine picks up - nothing -Western Wats - it's an off shore political polling group (who claim headquarters in Utah) - who is really behind this group??? They call at all hours.

I have got many calls from this number. All it is is a company doing TV surveys asking if you would like to partisapate in them. All you do is either do it or say no thank you. I did it all you do is watch a DVD they mail you watch it and they call you back for input on it. Then enter you into a monthly drawings to win prizes. I did the same thing with a cigarette survey over the phone and they sent me and my husband 25.00 gift card for our time. SO the companys are not out for hassement just for information and they have rules by there bosses to call until someone answers everyday even until someone asnwer and tells them yes i will or no thank you.

This westernwats is a bunch of Mormons out of Utah working for the Republicans. They tell you they are taking a survey but they do not really care what you think. They are trying to influence what you think. This survey starts out innocently enough but gradually becomes more and more suggestive of sinister motives attributed to Democratic candidates. (Do you think the world will come to an end if Barak Obama gets elected?) That's not verbatim, but you get the idea. They are harassing me. Not only do I want them stopped, I want to track down the owners and knock on their back door someday.
