Got a call a few minutes ago. Recording was in Spanish. I'm a native speaker. Recording pretended to be a today-only offer on behalf of T-Mobile, and to press a number to take it. Didn't do it.Very scammy sounding.
I added it to my Youmail "ditchmail" contacts...done and done. If you haven't tried youmail, check it out. It is free and a great way to kill these types of callers!
Got a call from 802-949-8989 at 11:59 am to my cell phone w/T-mobile. Didnt answer caller didnt leave message.Although I noticed that the person who had my number before seems to owe money to some people.It could be a debt collection agency or scammer bull sh*tting preying on innocent people.Either way dont answer these tards.
Got a call from that number just now, i never answer numbers i don't recognize anyway but becuase it was out of state i thought i'd look it up and obviously it's just a scam... don't answer it:)
I constantly get unwanted calls from this number. Not recognizing the number, I never answer it. No message is ever left. Out of curiousity, I discovered that area code is for Vermont and I do NOT know anyone in Vermont. I even tried to return the call and received a voice message "THE NUMBER YOU HAVE REACHED 949-8989 IS NOT IN SERVICE" . The calls are very annoying and I would like them to cease.
Could this be an online system that calls missing cell phones? I've never used craigslist but i believe this could be website where one can type in a cell phone number and the site calls it. I recently blocked someones phone number and believe they might be using this method to continue reaching my phone
