Same thing. Call in Spanish saying I won a prize from ATT and to press 1. I'm slow to translate and they hung up before I got the whole thing.

The calls from this number may come after a call to your number using "Google Gmail Call Phone" and or after calling the number "Google Gmail Call Phone" displays for caller ID (when you don't have a Google Voice Number). The calls I received from this "802" number occurred on a cell phone that has never received unwanted calls until being called by "Google Gmail Call Phone", and then calling the caller ID displayed after receiving the Google call. My affected number is a prepaid emergency car phone that has been used only rarely. This is only a guess the calls may also be random number generated (I believe the use of this technique is illegal in all states) or the number was previously listed and is again being circulated through the telefraud / telemarketing cesspool. I like the Google Gmail Call phone theory best. Any takers? Protection from unwanted calls is somewhat achievable through systems that allow specific blocking of offending numbers and this is easily spoofed. Forget about the "Do no call list" it is essentially an immense number database.The effort required to bring legal action against these (Free Market Business Criminal Scumbags "oops! I mean People) requires exacting records keeping of call activity, small court petitions and may expose your number to more telemarketers. Also Remember that all calls are logged (and likely recorded courtesy of the US Patriot Act and other global security services) for company records keeping and for customer service and safety. Did I mention location detection? Abandon all hope those who enter into telephonic communication.Have fun, don't fight and eat your vegetables.

I got a spam call from this number.

this morning i went on sitters.com a babysitting web site to find local sitters in your area. i started to fill out the info section and clicked the "next" button . They wanted $35 a month for their services, so i clicked off the page and did not submit. Guess they got my info anyways.....in the last few hours i have gotten allot of calls from strange numbers, i have not answered any. I called 802-949-8989 back and it says that it is not in service......hmmmm...
