I just got a call from this number - its been calling relentlessly for the past few days. I finally got sick of it so answered. The number came up as 'CC of Honolulu'. I answered and I could hear a lady whispering to somebody else. Then she said something - a name or something. I said 'Pardon'....whisper again. Then she said 'Thank you for calling. Sorry, I mean who am I speaking to?'. I said my name and she responded 'Sorry, wrong number'. I rang the number back from my cell phone and it stated this number is not in service! DON'T ANSWER. Maybe they are checking to see if you are home.
Just now July 19, 2017 this number called my cell and the guy sounded rushed & very business-like, saying "Hey, call central" and hung up, OH Sorry, I did not answer it. This is the message he hurriedly left.
CITY & COUNTY OF HONOLULU....it's their outbound generic number. I typically get calls from the DA's office with this number showing. I've gotten calls from various detectives also from this number. You can google it and there's plenty of info regarding 808-768-0000 You are UNABLE to call this number because it's an outbound extension for the City & County of Honolulu. Though, more likely than not, if you're getting a call from THIS number, a detective will be questioning you about something. If there's no message left, its probably NOT an urgent matter.
Called twice today. Caller hung up both times. Mine is a business number so this takes time away from clients.
Just made a report 8/17/17 today about 2 calls today. Checked the log in and 8/8/17 also received a hang up call.
Received a call from this number saying that it was "Officer Inouey" from the Honolulu Police Department calling about 2 runaways. He didn't leave any contact information, so I was unable to call him back and let him know that I have no idea who these teens are or where they are?! I tried calling the 808-768-000 number, and it was not a working number. WTF?! I hate when people waste my time!

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
