I would be leery of giving any information out over the telephone nowadays. Anyone can spoof the caller ID to look like any company they want to look like. This number may be perfectly legitimate. But, if anyone wants any information besides name, rank, and not my serial number, not fine.

Caller ID: Neilsen Ratings, left a very short but unintelligible message that sounded like people talking in a boiler room.

Glad to know who it is now. They call my cell but never leave any messages. So I never knew until now who the number belong to.

Yes, it was Neilsen ratings. I used to answer their questions but I won't any more. The reason is that they called me like 10 times in a row, the 2nd or 3rd question was if I was Hispanic. Then they hung up right away because I wasn't. If they want to rate Hispanics watching Hispanic shows that's cool. But they shouldn't keep calling back asking me the same question over and over again. What kind of goofy data bases do they use anyway?I will not give them any more data or answer anymore of their questions because they are a screwed up company and have bothered me too many times.

Glad I finally checked here! Had I know it was Neilsen I would have answered on the first call! I loooove doing the Neilsen ratings, plus they give you money! Free money for a few minutes of your time: worth it!!

They send $5 initially, then you do the actual survey and they send more money, usually about $30-40 to answer a few questions. Neilsen ratings have been around forever, they're not trying to screw you over.
