I called them back (after turning off my caller ID), and talked to some woman who claimed their company was Benchcraft. They called at 8:42am She claimed to not know why they were calling me, asked if I was with a business - unbelievable.
Beau left a message 7-27-15 from 813-908-4060 representing they were from Shennecossett Golf Club, which is in Groton, CT, though their number is from out of CT. Based on reports above, I did not call back.
I am a Realtor in Lafayette IN. Caller called and left a voicemail that he was interested in Little Pine Golf course. I did not call him back after reading comments. Caller ID says Tampa FL. 813-908-4060.
Got a call from them this morning. Trying to sell advertising for the Cocoa Beach Country Club. I looked up the company on YELP - all bad reviews. Looked up their number - all bad reviews. I read a lot of posts that they take peoples money and never deliver a product. I believe it. They are someone you should not do business with!!FYI - they don't even use a company email address. "Bo" from Tanglewood Golf Course--thanks to others reporting this number, I knew not to call back. My phone said "Florida" which is across the country from me, so it seemed strange anyway. Don't these guys realize we Google everything?
I got a similar message from this number but it was for Micke Grove Golf Club...thank goodness for the internet!
Similar to others - Caller identified themselves as "Amy" working on a project at Hyland Golf Club. That language is always a dead giveaway to me that it's someone selling advertising for a golf course (or whatever) to print brochures, score cards, etc.
Another Golf Course phone call...Left a message saying his name was William, the Project Coordinator from Broadmoor Golf Course (a local course) and had a project we might be interested in.
call came in ID'd as "Game Day Media", didn't answer, but "Charles Harris" left message regarding a local golf course and "a new project we're working on that I think your firm would be interested in being involved in"...... judging by above posts, these scammers use the name of a golf course in the area they are call-scamming in to tweak interest.
