Called my cell while I was on the freeway. Took a quick look and thought it might be my cousin that lives in Fort Worth. Got off freeway and looked again. Not her number. Glad I let it go to voice mail but griped about useless calls. CID says only "Texas."

There is no reason to be so rude to other posters, they are just giving their oppinion.

Got a call from 817 592-3435 on land line. No one spoke. Said it was Faith Fornier on the CID. A few minutes later got the same phone number (but CID said simply Mansfield, TX) on my cell phone. Was expecting a call from 847 area code and mistook the call, so answered it. A VERY pushy man kept talking over me to try to get me to buy a security system. I managed to speak over his conversation and it took only about 15 second for him to hand up on me. Just for giggles, I called back and it "tries to go" to VM, which is full. No doubt... Although I marked this as a telemarketer, it could be (and probably is) a scam. BEWARE!

It is extremely frustrating but instead of letting them get to you, get a call blocker. Take control. If you have a land line you can get a call blocker that will store 1500 numbers. Many phones have call blocking built in. For your cell, you can download a call blocking app (most are free).

Cell phone. Didn't answer. Never answer any call from anybody I don't know. They have to leave a message. These people didn't. It is disappointing to see that they're now targeting cell phones. I'm unable to block calls on my cell phone. But they change numbers often enough it wouldn't do any good.

I just received this call to my cell phone. No caller ID or anything. Weird thing is now that you mentioned the caller ID, I saw on my home phone that caller ID... weird.

817-592-3435 called me with V50916214500345 as the name of the caller on the CID. After a long pause and me cussing then out for a solid minute they finally said something. Usually when they call they just breathe into the phone and don't say anything. When I asked " Ryan you b*tch why don't you ever say anything when I first answer the ohkne?" He hung up. If you don't pay for a private phone number you're listed in the phonebook and it's considered public knowledge . If you pay for an unlisted phone number with your phone service provider you can bet that your info was sold by a company you did or do business with either past or present. I am also registered on the DNC list but I still get the occasional [***] that ignores the red flag beside my name and number. They were selling wireless alarms. My wireless alarm takes 45s, 38s, 223, 556, 7.20x54 and 9mm. Come on in! The steels hot and the cross hairs are on your face!
