DSS conducting a survey regarding my health care insurance experience. I participated in the survey. No personal or financial information requested (they already had my name and knew my insurance carrier). Survey seems legitimate.
They are definitely not legitimate. The only thing that is correct is that they are trying to get personal information and I have forwarded this info to the district attorney who is in charge of investigating Medicaid fraud. The reason I can say this is because this number claims to be the insurance carrier itself, and I happen to work for the insurance carrier they claimed to be from and absolutely no one from work has ever heard of this number let alone any of the employees they claim to be. The only thing that is accurate is the fact they are trying to dial blindly in hopes they get someone whose insurance they claim to be from in order to get more information. The best thing to do if they call you is to hang up and notify you own insurance company to let them know someone claiming to be them called you and report this number to them. Don't use this number as they are definitely not your insurance company.

Got a call from this # yesterday at 8:21 p.m. No message was left. Gotten calls before from this #. I thought maybe it was about political stuff.

The Do Not Call list is a joke. Phone companies make money off of them but we pay for it in hidden taxes on our phone charges.
