This company calls me everyday! I picked it up once to see if I could get them to stop calling me. There is no one on the other end. No message is EVER left. Facter Direct is a legitimate company based in Sherman Oaks, Ca., I looked up their website, unless that is fake too. Lol.
I agree! I've donated to EDF for many years and will keep doing so - a good environmental org.! I am so NOT "wealthy elite" !
The real EDF (Environmental Defense Fund) is a great and admirable charity. This is probably not them, and is a spoofed number used by fraudsters.
They ask for my husband and then hung up on me when told he was not available. If they are asking for a donation to any thing they sure will not get it now!

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
