If someone calls me with an unavailable Caller ID and an Indian Accent - automatic fail...

James (heavy accent) started in with asking for the head of household. i asked what he wanted. he wanted the head of household. I said nope, take us off your list. He claimed he couldn't do that. I said by law when I ask to be removed from your list you have to do it. He said he would block my number because of my attitude. I said do it. he reminded me twice he would block my number. I said Good, do it. He actually asked if I wanted him to block my number. I said, Duh and hung up.

Saying "Yes" was a big mistake. They can take your voice and digitally add it to anything they wish to sell you, and it sounds like you're agreeing to whatever they wish. Never say "Yes" to someone you don't know. They might even ask, "Can you hear me?" just to get you to say "Yes" for their recording.

I've heard that Time Warner Spectrum was purchased by Charter Communications for $78.7 billion, along with Bright House Networks in a separate $10.1 billion deal. The purchase was completed on May 18, 2016. Verizon recently bought Yahoo.

third time caller, hung up on my pick up. I called the number back. recording said call could not be completed. second time caller in three days. had to block. I have had similar calls as described by other posters. had bad experiences with these companies listed on other posts, likely nothing to do with companies listed in other posts. But with no message left, no call back, and no one on other line ; caller does not pass smell test...

Caller was trying to verify if I was with AT&T. I never told them I was with AT&T, but I did tell them if I was with AT&T tell me my name and she said OH! BUSTED!

Answered the phone to a very strong Asian accent. She didn't even identify herself and went straight into asking if i was satisfied with my Time Warner Cable internet and billing. Because of the accent I had to ask her to repeat the question four times. So i finally answered "yes" and she immediately ended the call.
