Got my credit card info and driver's license number - no return call

Caller said he was from AT&T and direct tv. Very strong Indian or Asian accent. Offer was too good to be true and all they wanted was a credit card number an I woul get fill Internet, unlimited phone service and all available ty channels...wow! I asked him to send me the offer in writing and he hemmed and hawed and Sid he would then hung up. DO NOT GIVE THESE SOB's ANY INFORMATION, JUST HANG UP, I hope this message helps someone....

Identified as Time Warner Spectrum then same sentence said with ATT. Has no idea what company he works for. Hung up on me

Called, had a very strong Indian accent. Wanted to give me a price on tv/internet and phone. Since I recently was looking at Time Warner Spectrum, he knew some of the correct info. Gave me a ridiculously low price which threw up a red flag. Needed personal info to get it set. Very pushy, had to hang up. did not give info.

Two nights in a row a call from this number. Very strong middle-eastern (or India,) accent. Sorry. I do not give solicitors a chance to speak - especially someone I have a difficult time understanding and the fact that I am on the Do Not Call Registry. If the call me again, I will be blowing a very loud whistle in their ear. So much for our "government," setting up the Do Not Call Registry. Pitiful.

That's baloney. There's no need for a recording of your voice saying "yes" for people to scam you. It's not like there's voice recognition software that will only respond to your voice in order to make a purchase. Besides, they would need a lot more than you just saying "yes," like your credit card number, social security number, and so on.
