Caller ID said toll free call. Identified as being from Time Warner and wanted to know if I was still with AT&T. Hard to hear and had a strong accent. Talking about business class service and saving money. Had to tell him several times that I was not interested before he abruptly hung up. Unable to identify if it was Time Warner or a scammer using their name to get my business. Any time someone calls using old, outdated information (including company name) I become suspicious. Since I have received several lately (claiming to be them) and have been asked to place me on their do not call list, this call should not have happened.

Call at 5:34 p.m. from this number. No message. Plan to block when I can find space on my 40 call block phone!

Sometimes I wish I could just put my hand right through the phone line and strangle the person on the other end. I'm not being hyperbolic -- I really wanna do that to these telemarketers and scammers.

Identified as being from Time Warner offering me ridiculous rates for service. The red flag was saying he was from Time Warner which after its merger spent so much time and money on the renaming to Spectrum that I highly doubt they would call using using the old name.Very pushy with foreign accent. Since the same number is used by AT&T, Direct TV and others s raises the chances of a scam/fraud/fishing call even more. Also when the use old/false account information like previous owners who died 2 to 10 years ago it does not help their case.

Caller states to be with any tv service trying to get your info. Tv companies will not cold call you for personal info. Do not give your credit card info to anyone you did not initiate the call with. Never say yes to these scammers. They will use you're answer to make phony charges against you. Just hang up.

Leaves no message. No message means = SCAM. If someone what's to talk to you and is legit they will at least you a message. They have called 9 times over the past year. 3 in May, 1 Sept., 1 Oct., 1 Dec., 1 Jan, and 1 in Feb. I keep a record of everyone of these calls on a spreadsheet by phone number and dates called with notes about the call. Over the past to years I received and recorded 942 calls of which 368 are repeat calls and 574 non repeat calls that are unsolicited calls some I can identified and some I can't, some I block if possible..

No message, just a headache from the phone ringing.

Actually, there was a report on the ABC Nightly News about a week or so ago saying this is a new scam. They get you to say "yes" and call you back later to say you owe them money. When you deny it, they play back a message asking if you agree to the terms and your voice answering back.
