Just received a call from this number on my cell phone. I did not answer and no message left.
Called at 12:50 am. Same sales information as others here have reported. Recorded message about need to get medical alarm.
VM transcript: 'Be shipped, please press 1 and hold the line to receive a medical alert system one out of every 3 Americans that are over 65 fall every year in the US and that fall. Maybe the last don't be a statistic press one now to receive a medical alarm at no cost press 1 now or press 9 to opt out.'
fake medical alert scam left a robo male voice message about a medical alert package well they are not free
This was a strange call. The caller hung up after the first ring and did not leave a message, but my caller ID told me who was calling. My caller ID said, "Medical Alarms."Like others posing on this website, I've had dozens of calls about falling and needing a medical alert/alarm for my safety. I'm getting sick and tired of these, like my umpteenth call this morning for dryer vent cleaning.I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years, not that it does much good. Why they keep calling is beyond me. Someone who is on the Do Not Call list is not going to buy anything. Maybe that's why one person dubbed them teledummies.Have a good day everybody. And be a smart consumer and don't answer your phone.
Called Thursday, 3/22/18, at 12:13 pm PDT. Caller ID showed "Medical Alarms". No message left. Check-caller.net says this is a fake number as area code and prefix do not match.
Company peddling Medical Alert Systems - ugh!!! Hate these spam calls! And these Robo-spam calls most of all!

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
