This number called last night to Ontario Canada -- Left no message --- They are now on my list of blocked callers.
I had another thought on this... I prepay my Verizon minutes with my TD bank card. So if the Verizon payment info has been hacked, it would be easy to 1) have a number to call, 2) my name and 3) my bank. And lots of folks auto pay their cell and Verizon home lines online with a bank card or use online bill pay with their bank.
855-496-4285Ive received 2 calls. I don't pick up. They don't leave a message. I am a TD BANK customer. There are two knowns here. I don't pick up the call - their automated system keeps my number on the " redial till answer" list. If I do pick up call - they get charged for the call. I may pick up and claim I'm not me, so they leave me aloneThen tell bank. Thoughts?
Wow I googled 855-496-4285 I did not expect to see so many responses similar to me. I also have Verizon and this number has called me 3 times in the past few days, and no message. I know now not to answer if they call again.
I received a call from this number 4 times today!!?? The last two calls came at 6:30 and again at 7:10...WTF!!! The caller ID reads "unavailable" and when I call this number it just beeps repeatedly...
They have called my cell 4 times in the last hour and a half. I haven't answered, but i might the next time cause I am fed up!
You guys are all idiots! Seriously, if any one of you read the fine print in your terms, it would say that you agree to receive customer satisfaction surveys after visiting a branch...this isnt a phishing scam, if you meatballs would pick up the phone and go thru the survey like I just did, they ask nothing personal and is 100% related to your last experience with TD. TD is rated the #ONE customer service satisfactory bank, and this could be one of the reasons why. If you don't want to deal with these calls go into your branch and ask to be removed from it. Stop feeding this insane nonsense that there is some conspiratory scam that TD is selling your information to seedy marketing groups. Either educate yourselves or start reading agreements that you sign.
You OBVIOUSLY "work" there. If it really is what you claim, you just gave every customer a good reason to close their account immediately. Victims of this insane telepest should print out this little diatribe and show it to the bank's real representative as we close our accounts.Idiots indeed!
You're a real hero Bob. However you signed an agreement to receive these calls when you signed up for the account you used to have at TD. It's in the fine print you obviously didn't bother reading. Educate yourself. And if its really bothering you people this bloody much then call TD and tell them you don't want to help with customer satisfaction, you just want to reap the benefits then [***] when they try to keep improving it. Either call TD and quit banking there, call TD and ask to not be called for customer service surveys, or shut the hell up and take 5 mins to improve customer service.
