Had major issue with international shipments (4 boxes) and spent a couple hours with FedEx tracking and working out resolution to get items out of Memphis Customs. I don't do surveys anymore, as typical corporate behaviour is to "generate" the survey to impress upper management....... and then they ignore the most obvious suggestions. Additionally, their "survey questions" usually avoid the very core issues (FedEx issues) that caused the problem. Not just FedEx, but typical to almost all larger firms with which we deal.
Probably legit. I missed a call from this number and also received a package from FedEx today.
The call hung up on my answering machine, but I suspect that this IS a legitimate call from FedEx because I DID call their customer service yesterday about a couple of issues. The rep was courteous and patient, quite pleasant, so I wouldn't want to deny them some positive feedback.
..... If they were yes/no questions, it could be part of the newer "YES SCAM" calls. They aim to get you to repeatedly say yes and record it, hoping to use it as authorization to steal from your credit card or bank account. They need to have, that other information too, a "yes" isn't enough... but who knows what they've already got?
Looked scammy so I didn't answer. Robocaller listened to my outgoing message for a few moments, and then disconnected. I did get a FedEx shipment yesterday, but first of all I didn't give them my phone number, and secondly I don't appreciate such intrusions into my privacy without my consent. I think it's a coincidence, and that this was a scam caller.
And by the way, I just called the number to see what it was, and the recording never identifies themselves a FedEx or anything else, just calls themselves "we" and refers to a "recent" experience. It could be anyone sndmI still think it's scammees. FedEx would say who they are.
I see... so if they identify themselves as Santa Claus, that would be enough for you to believe in its authenticity, too? Were you born yesterday?
I had called FedEx yesterday to get a time window for delivery of a package. This afternoon, I got the recorded call asking if I was the one who contacted FedEx yesterday. The recording said it would take about three minutes and I did answer all the questions. The caller ID said TOLL FREE CALLER. If it had said FedEx the call might seem less suspicious to people. Up this number is definitely a real call from FedEx.
