I don't want calls from any political organizations, be they liberal or conservative or whatever. Period.Having said that, I know the law allows it. So I just hang up the instant I realize what the call is about. Like I did with the call from this number.

Keep calling and I am on DNC list. If you can't leave a message, do not call again. Very annoying!

Received another call from Rick Santorum this morning. Does he really think he is going to accomplish anything by annoying people with these calls?

1-855-831-5474 has called several times, fortunately when I was not at home to answer. I wish that there were some way to block these unauthorized calls. I am on the Do Not Call list, but I suspect that the owner of this number simply places calls at random.

A call blocker is the best choice at this time. The DNC is not broken. It is just a "List" of numbers who have signed up not wanting to be called and It functions as was created and intended. The biggest problem is that most people have never gone to the FTC/DNC site to read and understand how it works. Most assume that it monitors and block unwanted calls. It does not. It is just a list collected and maintained by the FTC, and is required to be purchased and honored by those legitimate and Registered with the FTC businesses who want to do business by phone. Nothing else. Scammers and scofflaws will call your number regardless of any list. There are over 500 million+ personal phones in the US with approximately 1 billion 500 million+/- telephone calls made and received each and every day. How in the world can any system monitor, screen, every call and determine which of the calls that each and every persons wants to accept or reject. Physically and financially it is impossible. The DNC is a list, not a massive mega computer or army of employees monitoring the billions of phone calls and is totally based upon the honor system by those Businesses Registered with the FTC. When they violate it and are reported, they are fined 16 K per call and are easily located by the FTC by pulling their files or picking up a phone book.

What a load of BS. You are one ignorant, stupid individual. A citizens right to privacy is a universally accepted right and that means no calling from 855-831-5474 or the associated scum-bags. No wonder they have their foot in everyone's civil rights; they don't have a clue about individual rights nor privacy.
