This fellow is still at it! To anyone reading this, DO NOT FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS!Just got a call from him. The number comes up on my caller ID as "Name not found". He claimed that PC Wizards has an exclusive contract from Microsoft to call all registered Windows users to correct this "problem". I laughed at him, stating that there are millions of people who use Windows, calling everyone would be impossible. He said the problem, if not corrected immediately would damage my hard drive.I did play along with him. As proof of this problem he instructed me look under MyComputer/Computer Management/ System Tools / Event Viewer / Application stating that more than 5 errors required their services.I finally balked when he asked me to bring his Web site using Internet Explorer.The fellow remained very polite, but persistant even as I told him that I beleived that this was a phishing scam. When I refused to go to the web site, he politely indicated that this exchange was wasting our time and terminated the call.

Same [***] as everyone else. Awfully damn funny he didn't want to talk about any kind of security risk on my computer when I told him that that he needed to find someone else who is a dumbass that would fall for his scam. Oh did he ever get pissed at that. Kept telling me not to say that, don't dare say it is a scam and that I needed to shut my [***] mouth. I told him I knew it was scam because I don't run Microsoft yet instead run Mac. He continued on with his tirade screaming at me to not say that it was a scam.

I got a call them yesterday evening. I don't even say anything. I just open the line and press the pound key for about a full minute then hand up. I hope the loud sound that key makes give them ringing in the ear. I am doing this with all unwanted callers. I'm hoping too that this method screws up the computer calls that I get.

Receivd a call from this number about an hour ago on my cell phone telling me my home computer was infected with a ton of viruses....told him I wasn't home and wouldn't be there for a while. He wanted me to call him back. I told him I HAD his number but needed his name. Kinda pissed him off and he hung up.

they just called us, female with very heavy accent.........heard word computer but could not understand anything else. Tried politely to end call twice and finally hung up. Our number is on the No Call List - has been forever, but still they call.................and then there is the credit card company that wants to consolidate all your card.....they change their number every day!

I told this same Indian guy that kept insisting I have a virus that I don't even own a computer. He then hung up on me.

Just Hangs up No Message

I entertained this guy for a minute to get his angle. Turns out he wanted me to switch on some Malware. When I told him I followed all his instructions, he asked what I see on the screen. I said "nothing", and the call mysteriously dropped. Hmm...

Got call from and Indian guy. same thing, just another scam I hung up
