I.d. thief calls to get personal infomation and gain access to computer

I just had an interesting phone call. They said they had information that my computer had some errors. O really, I am thinking. I knew this was a scam and I went along with them as long as I could. He wanted my CC# before even telling me his company website name. They wanted me to type in www.logmein123.com into my run command window. All I know is they wanted $150 for a year of support. Hope none of my friends fall for this scam.

Keep calling and wait for answering machine, then there is silence for a moment before the hang-up. I do not answer calls if I do not recognize the number. If it is important they can leave a messege. These people never do.

I GOT THE SAME CALL YESTERDAY, TELLING ME THEY ARE FROM MICROSOFT AND MY COMPUTER IS BADLY INFECTED AND THEY WANT TO FIX IT...FOR SOME INFORMATION THEY COULD HELP..AGAIN 5 MIN. AGO I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE SAME NUMBER AND THEY HUNG UP WHEN I KEPT SAYING HELLO....

UNWANTED # KEEPS CALLING.. FOUND OUT THEY ARE SCAMERS...SO IF YOU SEE THIS # ""DON'T ANSWER"""

received a call and they hung up.

I called back after missing a cal from this number. It's non working, hopefully this will be the only time it calls me.

WE KEEP GETTING PHONECALLS FROM THIS # THROUGHOUT THE DAY & NOBODY IS ON THE OTHER END. WE CALLED THE OPERATORS ABOUT IT, HE SAID WHOEVER IS CALLING OUR #HAS BEEN BOTHERING ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE, ALSO. THE CALLER I.D. COMES UP AS"CALIFORNIA CALLER". FROM EITHER CALIF. OR N.Y. HOPE SOMEONE CATCHES THIS GUY!

This number has been calling me repeatedly for the past two weeks. When I have answered, it's a company telling me that my Microsoft/Windows based machine is infected and if I give them access to it, then they will help fix the problem. Who are these guys?

We received 2 calls from the # 858-102-3252 today on our answering machine but no messages left. On the 2nd call we could hear voices in the background. My husband called the number from his cell but it said the call couldn't be completed as dialed, huh. I'm glad I Googled the number & found this site!
