You should file a complaint on www.donotcall.gov so they can keep a record of every time this occurs.
Just called (5:30pm on the dot, Friday, May 4) Noticed it simply said Kentucky so I didn't answer.I get numerous junk calls all day every day. So frustrating, all I can say!
Woke me up out of a sound sleep on a Sunday night and wanted to ask me questions. I was furious.
If you call their number and press 9, you will hear that they are a survey company which is not covered by the do not call list.So long as they are not selling you anything, they can do this.Same with political calls who are asking for donations.I do think the latter ought to be added to the DNC list as well.I did not report them because some of the time I like to give my opinion.
They kept calling so I cut my hands off, now I can't pick up the phone. Ha ha that will show them. I am typing with my baby toe.
I have received multiple calls from this firm and they tell me that they are allowed to call. Where is the state attorney general's office personnel when you need them? Sirs is asking personal questions to satisfy their "clients" needs. Remove the Sirs research from making these calls!
We are a market research company. The DNC list applies to telemarketers; we are not trying to sell you anything. We conduct surveys about your local grocery stores that you shop at, then that information is given to those stores in order to improve. We do have a classification section in which we ask demographics. These questions are optional and will not effect that questions you answered. We are legally allowed to call until ten o'clock PM, though we stop at 9:30 for your convenience. The hours of operation are mainly in late afternoon and evening because that is simply when most people are home. Several respondents take our survey a day, though majority of the numbers we call are voicemails or no answers. If we call you, you can simple tell us you are not interested. Thank you.
Politeness doesn't work. They ALWAYS call back! I can't count the number of times I've been polite, only to have the empty promise ("of course we'll put you on our do not call list") BROKEN the very next day! From here on out here's how we roll: First caller is treated courteously AND warned that this is the last time courtesy rules. The next time the F-bombs fall!
this is a legitimate marketing research firm. i have been involved in several research projects with them. they hire a call staff also, who's job it is to cold call people for research surveys. yes, the calls can be annoying, but yes, it is also someone's job to do so. Just tell they you cannot participate, say thank you, and hang up. not difficult.
