Called on a Sunday!! Wanted me to answer a few questions for a survey. Since when is this type of call permitted on a Sunday????? I have been on the National Do Not Call List from the beginning and re-signed when we had to but this type of call along with charities and political calls are exempt from DNC?? REALLY??? omg
anyone that calls me like this, I send a letter to FTC and a copy to the company.The FTC only regulated debt collectors but maybe the other companies do nt want any trouble.In any event so far it is has cut down the # of unwanted calls by 50%.To me that's worth the price of 2 stamps.
If your phone company offers a call screening feature just input that number into the feature and their phone call won't even reach you. I have comcast and you pick up your phone wait for the dial tone and then press *60 and put in the numbers you don't want to bother you. Then they get the hint. Good Luck !
Have received NUMEROUS calls from "SIRS", even though I have NEVER picked up. Hadn't gotten a call from them in awhile, except for today, a day I stayed out sick from work. So sick of this. National Do Not Call Registry is a major FAIL. Put this number on my "block" list, but my list holds only 12 numbers at a time, which means I have to remove one of the others to now include this one. Also got two calls today from "Kent, WA". Blocked the first number, only to be called about an hour later from a different number. Really, this is ridiculous. And, how is it they seem to know I'm home trying to rest?
Fwd your phone for repeat callers to any pest control company that answers their phone that way or another telemarketer or the nearest psych hosp or even your local police (just not their emergency line).
