Calls and when I answer there is dead air on the other side. Robocall with nobody attending the calls I assume. Number has been added to my list of bogus callers. My display says "unavailable". When they all again I'll pick up and hang up immediately. So tiresome. Wish these people would get a real job - one that did not include harassing people.
Calls my job all the time and I always hang up on them. What trips me up is I work in the next town over in Connecticut so everytime I see this number I think it is legit but then I remember it is them.
I wouldn't recommend calling them to ask that your number be removed from their list. That typically just makes your phone number more valuable and then they sell it to more telemarketers. Blocked at Verizon now, as well as with no ringtone and to annoying voice mail message on YouMail.com in case they spoof more numbers.
Use it! They have called me 4 times in the past 2 days. They won't be getting through any more - I blocked their number.
Got a call from 860-589-0220 this morning at 9:25, answered it and they hung up. At 11:43, I got a "credit services" phishing call from an autodialer. It's almost as if the 860-589-0220 was trolling to find numbers that people answer and then passing the number to another system for the autodialer call.I only get these calls on my cell phone, not my home phone ... both are on the DNC ... so it has to do with entering it on internet sites or something and the disclosure we agree to without reading must contain a statement that we can be called.
These people call saying they are trying to renew a magazine subscribtion, they are really fishing for information. He claimed he had a "one way number" Do they really expect you to fall for that?
Caller ID reads Graffam S...when I answered, I got an earful of loud static. I said "Hello?" twice, but no answer. Onto my blocked caller list!
