im from NY. and i have this guy in CA ive been talking to....his cell is CA area code but when he calls from home is "unavailable" so i saved it and it came up as this number....weird? is it just cause its a different state than me or could this be a bad sign?
When you save an unabailable number, it will put the 11 numbers in you phone book, becuase unavailable is 11 numbers. The 11 numbers are the numbers on the keypad that go with the letters U*N*A*V*A*I*L*A*B*L*E
I got a call from this number, too. It registered as an international number 01186282452253. "86" is the calling code for China! What's up with that?
this is a number in the UK. It has been calling my cell phone and we can't block it. I accidentally picked up when they called and all I got was a "BEEP". I went to Verizon and had them document the call just in case anything happens with my number. They said it shouldn't, but documented it anyways. I then saved the number and titled it "don't open" and set the ring tone to a single beep. That way it is not annoying.

I get these calls all the time, always at highly inconvenient and/or rude times (late nite, early morning, etc.) When I answer, the person sounds like someone playing a joke, always asking for someone I never heard of. It reminds me of when we were in grade school a zillion years ago and playing stupid jokes on ppl from the kitchen wall phone while mom was at work.... anyhow, it's highly irritating. I, too, have saved it to my phone book and set the phone to only beep once for UNAVAILABLE calls. My wife's phone has an option to attach 'no ring' to an entry in her phone book, but alas my phone doesn't. What's up with that, Verizon?
