very tired getting calls from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called my credit card and they said it was a scam

The DNC can do nothing about this type of SCAM(tm) call.It originates over seas in India.The number on your caller ID is fake.Until India does something about this, IT will never end.

Repeated calls from this number past 2 weeks. I don't answer for unidentified callers. No VM left.

Yet another credit card scam number. There's no way to get on their do not call list!

Now showing on caller id as Consumer Services. They have called repeatedly. Message on voicemal says it is urgent that we contact them so they can lower our credit card interest(otherwise known as steal our credit card numbers). Select 1 to talk to live operator or press 3 to discontinue calls. I'm sure it's urgent for them to get our card numbers. Scammers don't care about the do not call list so it's natural that they would call even though you're on it.

Best solution is to never, ever answer calls you don't recognize. By answering, the very least you do is let them know that yours is a working number with a real person on the other end. That means they will keep calling and will sell your number to other scammers. If you're afraid of missing a legit call, don't be; they will leave a message and you can call them back. Silence is the only solution. It's a passive solution and probably won't stop the problem, but at least you are in control of who you speak with and you can casually delete the few voice mails that are left by these scumbags. Getting a phone system that can block numbers will help, but with spoofing, you will end up blocking thousands of numbers and they will only keep coming. I say silence is golden and keeps you in control.

As some others have said, you're gonna keep getting these calls from different numbers, regardless of if you report them through gov agencies. The only way to stop them is to TAKE THE CALL, tell them you know that they're a scam, and use some shouting profanities and they'll hang up - and they won't call you again. it's not like something where they'll keep calling to sell you something - once they know you know that they're a scam, there's no point in them calling you again. Try it - it works.
