There is a limit to the volume transmitted over telephone lines. Your whistle sound will only be as loud as the receiver can get, which is considerably less than the volume your whistle can produce. It will be annoying but won't cause damage because the volume at their end is not the same.It's the same as putting a picture of the sun on your television. The amount of light is limited by what your TV can produce, therefore it doesn't even cause you to squint.

Spam calls from this number to cell phone again

I just received a call from 864-221-3707 asking that I participate in a survey for Diabetic persons. I hung on and then the phone disconnected, called back and got a message that the number was not an active number. How can someone be using a non-active number to dial out?

Got a call from this number a little bit ago. (May 11 2010) My mom and I both are diabetic, so we were a little freaked out. Nice to hear we weren't singled out. Has anyone taken the survey though? I am curious what they are trying to say. The recording said some false information about losing insurance coverage if they do not get our information. It also said there was a spot on our census form to put our diabetic status so government officials could compile information...? Already did the form, there was nothing like that! Obviously a scam, I don't believe it for a second but I would like to hear what they are trying to do. Almost hoping they call back so I can question them.... I was explaining it to my mom and missed how to take the survey. We tried to call them back but were told the number was not a working a number.

Wrong, I think they should be hunted down, followed to work and the building torched to the ground!

Just got another call...I think this is like the 15th time theyve called. have it on autoreject and i finally got a message. short tidbit about a survey and diabetes. whoever is orchestrating these calls....i wanna punch them in the face.

I got this call from this number, complaining that the question are you diabetic was obmittedfrom the Cenus form...If I wanted to sign a paper to press one.... I started laughting almostthe Cenus does not count conditions..I pressed number 1 got a real live person, she asked me if I wanted to sign the obmittedpart of the cenus form... My response way do diabetic feel so special, why not ask about if you had cancer, heart disease or kidney failure---- I waited for a response andthey hung up on me

i think, but could be wrong, i use "godaddy" and they are the only people that have my number???
