This is a medical debt collector,and I do have a hospital bill I'm trying to pay off.

IT IS THE GROUP YOU MENTIONED AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PAY THEM WITH A CHECK! THEY DO NOT TAKE PARTIAL PAYMENTS! THEY WILL TAKE THE FULL AMOUNT NO MATTER HOW MUCH IS AVAILABLE IN YOUR ACCT. MY HUSBAND AND I JUST GOT STUCK WITH IT AND WE'RE TRYING TO FIGHT IT!

They call to tell me I owe a medical company and have my date of birth but claim not to have my address to send info via mail. I refused. I've never changed my mailing address yet they don't have it. Too weird.

They called me today and said they have been trying to contact me for a while. I am disabled and draw SSI and have Medicaid which pays for everything. They say I owe a bill to a hospital in which I delievered my child, but they say its on me and the only thing I am getting is on him. Im not sure how a woman that gets full medical paid should owe a bill. I have had Medicaid since the day I was born and this makes no sense to me at all. By law they cannot pressure nor collect any money from a disabled person because they have no means of making money. I told the lady to back off or I would slap a law suit so fast on them they wouldnt have time to blink. Have numerous lawyers handling this, and its best to just turn it over to them. BTW Cell Phones have a REJECT list where if they call it will automatically reject the call. Plus it is against the law for them to contact any of your family, friends, and at work.

These people called and threatened me with wage garnishment over an old hospital bill belonging to my husband before we were married - yelling match and all!! Called my lawyer - free advice: DO NOT talk to these people. They are threatening and have been hired to collect on old medical debts and are NOT an attorneys office. Contact the medical provider that hired them and let them know you refuse to be threatened on an old debt.

I also keep getting this call on my cell phone. I do not answer. I have received it several times now. Just keep not answering and then deleting from my phone

They identified themselves to me as Medical Recovery and said it was an attempt to collect a debt.

CALLED ME ON MY CELL. ASKED FOR MY SON. TOLD THEM HE WAS NOT HERE. THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL BACK. I ASKED WHO IT WAS. THEY SAID, "MDS." "IF YOU CANNOT ACT FOR HIM, WE CANNOT TELL YOU WHAT IT'S ABOUT." SO, NOW I ASSUME IT WAS SOMEONE TO COLLECT AN UNPAID MEDICAL BILL.THANKS.

It rung once and hung up. This is the first call ive gotten.

called one of my family how disrespectful and rude is that, i don't even owe this debt and it's over 7-8 yrs. now
