Got several messages from 866-564-5432; each time it's a different person, saying they're calling from the US Census Bureau. I haven't returned any, as it sounds very suspicious. Why would the Census Bureau call-especially since this isn't a census year (they ony do the census every 10 years, so it's not happening again until 2010).
I got a similar call and contacted the National Call Center directly and received the following message:Thank you for your inquiry about one of the Census Bureau's ongoing Economic surveys.This survey provides national and state level estimates on employer-sponsored health insurance coverage. The survey is conducted under the authority of Title 13, Section 8 (b) of the United States Code and Section 913 of the Public Health Service Act (Title 42, U.S.C., Section 299b-2).Both private and public sector employers are in sample. This survey collects data on the number and types of private health insurance plans offered, benefits associated with these plans, premiums, contributions by employers and employees, eligibility requirements and employer characteristics.Your participation is extremely important. Please return our call on1-866-564-5432 and give the caseid xxxxxx. One of our interviewers will be happy to assist. Our records noted that a bilingual interviewer will be assigned to this case. The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
