CallerID said "Dish Network". Didn't answer. Left no message. Nuwber.com says Molly Medford, Mt. Juliet, TN. Nomorobo.com says robocaller.

UPDATE........... 866-668-8047 IS a valid Dish Network phone number... So is 888-285-9984 and several others. I just called these along with several other numbers associated with Dish, and they ARE valid numbers used by Dish... After trying these several numbers which all link back to Dish's main menu, I called Dish at there main number 800-333-3474. I asked them about these other Dish related numbers, and they all but denied that they even exist. And now it seems there not Dish Network anymore, now there "The Dish" or just plain "Dish" Perhaps they should call themselves the "Dirty Dish" making phone calls and then denying they ever called.

I was living in Florida last year (2010) Dish offered a 12 month rate of 19.95 per month for 100 channels. I had them install equipment In March of 2010. In June I was moving to Michigan. I called and service stopped. They said "just take the receiver and the remote and move. Then when you are settled in Mich. Call and we'll set you up at your new address. ( NO MENTION OF ANY COST INVOLVED) I called with my new address in Mich. They would not honor the incentive program that I signed up with in Florida. Thus they screwed me out of 9 months worth of my $15.00 a month savings, they charged me $50.00 for a new instillation (they were going to charge me $100.00 for new instillation). I gave them a big mouthfull of Hell to get the reduction. Now when it snows, I get the Blue Screen, no picture. I called to complain, they wanted to give me the phone number of a company they sells a film covering for my dish so that snow would not accumulate. Guess what I told them ! Then when spring and summer came, when it rains once again Blue screen, no picture. I've stopped paying them, and notified them in writing I'm cancelling. Now I'm getting the zombie phone calls,. I'm waiting for the fire works to start.......

Let me guess:::: They told you that the 866-668-8047 number is in no way linked to them?

I keep getting these calls and I DO NOT want them!

Funny, cause they told me the exact opposite.

I left Dish because they kept raising the bill and reducing the number of channels in my area. They called to threaten that if I didn't return the equipment they were gonna do something. Their return box arrived Tuesday at 6PM and it was back in the UPS system the next day. Don't see their problem. It was a recorded message, I hung up and blocked the caller so that should take care of it.

It's Dish alright! Whether they want to admit it or not, I've called several of these "Phantom" numbers including the 866-668-8047 and they all link back to Dish Networks main menu. Dish also told me this and other numbers are not used by them.. why the secrecy, well that's anybody's guess.

We receive a robo-call in Spanish from this number at least once a month. Our number is on the Do Not Call List, we have never had Dish network service (or requested it) and we don't speak Spanish. I've reported the calls to the Federal Do Not Call complaint line, and I've pressed the button requesting no more calls and that doesn't work either. What else can I do to make the calls stop?

Very interesting indeed! But why does Dish deny the use of this number? I have called on two different occasions and they deny its use by them. A simple "Dish Network" in the caller ID would solve 99% Of all problems and posts here.
