It rings once hangs up rings again hangs up. I googled the number and it belongs to PG&E the number for their smart meters.
Yes, I got the calls too.. It seemed legit calls, because I have PG&E smart something event sign up tomrrow ..
It is PGE. Calling to advise of an upcoming smart day. Basically, reduce power use to reduce the demand on the power grid.
This was PG&E call concerning the Smart Rate program and testing the number they have on file for future alerts to a SmartRate day.

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
