After receiving a call claiming to be progressive like everybody else I decided to hang up and call progressive directly. It turns out that this was legitimate, as the drivers license they had on file was my old license from a different state.Still I would recommend taking my course of action and calling them yourself just to ensure that you don't get phished.

Got 5 calls in one day from this number. They finally left a voicemail and it was an automated message from Progressive. It said they needed updated info and even left a reference number.I called Progressive customer service from their number on the website. Spoke with a representative and Progressive had NOT been trying to call me. THIS IS A SCAM. Do not give them any personal info.

4 calls in one freaking day.. one at 9:30pm? I DONT THINK SO. I dont care WHO you ARE or WHAT you need.

They called twice and left that same message in the aforementioned posts. I called Progressive and they are NOT trying to get a hold of me. Any post on here that says it IS Progressive is probably from the people making the scam calls.

Progressive wanted something, probably legit but I don't want my insurer to get any more informaton than they have.Ima licensed agent DON'T LIKE IT? Then send me a nonrenewal I can reply with the information to circumvent. P---- off!Good show Steve.

I received a call from this number but no message...so strange because they went all the way up to the recording part and then hung up. after reaching this forum, I called progressive they said they had NO notes stating that a call was made to me or service was necessary. because I bundle my car insurance with my homeowner's she transferred me over to homeowner's who reviewed the policy with me and said that no contact was made since the inception of the policy- nor was any needed. basically- this number is a scam. if it calls you, do not give them your information and instead call progressive directly yourself to make sure you are reaching a real rep and review anything if need me.

I received a phone call on my home phone from this number. It was a voice recording asking for me by name and saying they were progressive. Thing is, progressive does NOT have my home phone number. They only have my cell number for the account. Hung up and logged in to progressive.co. I am in good standing.

Robocall saying was Progressive, have a message. Gives code to retrieve message. When call back, says I have a drivers license in another state and asks for current DL number. Must be a scam. Hung up

I got a voice mail what was just someone leaving this number for me to call back. The was no description about who they were or what they wanted, just the phone number. Neither me, nor any of my family members use Progressive.
