Receive calls from this number all hours of the day and night as well. One time I picked up and they said they were calling from the American Cancer Society. At first I didn't realize that it was the harrassing caller ID number I had seen previously. (Or I wouldn't have answered) They don't leave a message. Just keep calling throughout the day and night! WHAT CAN BE DONE? I am also on the DO NOT CALL list. I cannot imagine it is really the American Cancer Society.

Yes, they wake me from my already too-short sleep....damaging my health further. Kind of ironic.

this number keeps calling several times a day

I just called that number, the lady I spoke to was apologetic and said they'd remove it (couple of business days). We shall see. :)

I have been receiving calls from this number in the early morning up into late evening for several days. We are on the do not call list and I would like to calls to stop

Within 15 minutes of leaving a request on the American Cancer Society's website asking them to remove me, I got a call from their customer service ...very nice lady.... she actually was meaning to call Notes to Neighbors directly and just glanced at the wrong number. But she said they plan to discontinue Notes to Neighbors because the vendor they are working with won't do it properly and it's not worth all the bad feelings it's causing. She was appalled that they were calling before 9 a.m. Anyway, could be a well-rehearsed customer relations spiel (her call to me), but she was very nice and sounded real and not just reading a script, said she was going to call them herself to make sure they remove our number.We shall see. :)
