id log came from Texas. msg stated not to answer if this was not you. Person mentioned was very familiar to me, (the ex), so I continued to listen. got name and number and called back. Of course no one is available. after reading some of the other blogs, it seems it probably is a collection company. Curious timing. wonder if they are coming looking for her.

I got a call yesterday from these folks, asking for the "Brown (pseudo) Estate". My mom passed away October 2009. Her estate was declared insolvent. I pressed the number 4 option that replied that they had the wrong phone number.

I just got a call from them also. Caller ID doesn't show who's call so I blocked my work # and called them. The woman who answered id'd them as Mitchell D Blume & Assoc. I usually go straight to www.us.bbb.org to check out all businesses I'm not familiar with. I don't care how I put the name in...nothing comes up for them anywhere. They definitely don't seem to be on the up-and-up. I don't ever answer a call I don't recognize...well, not usually. Never admit who you are because that starts the ugly cycle all over again!!!

I think its a bit fishy when this particular phone number at all hours of the day early or late in the evening and doesn't even leave a voicemail. If this a true legit law firm like you say you are, leave a message and call from a real phone number!

These firms are legit but Mitchell D. Bluhm & Associates, LLC of Sherman Tx are a bogus Law firm....they are in fact a debt collection agency(CF Medical LLC)

They claim to be with a Law Firm very aggressive.

Yea,I had them checked out too.. and they are a legitiate law firm collecting debts that are owed... I had to pay a past ambulance bill i thought the insurance had paid, however, I did not pay my co pay portion. They were pleasant and professional to deal with... I could not believe it...

Very rude call @ 9:00 P.M. This is a very late call for me, for I am an elderly person in bad health. The guy said his name was Mitch Bloom. He said he was tring to collect an old ambulance bill from Feb. 2004, which I know medicare or medicade paid for. I told the guy I live on 600.00 a month social security and told him I was hanging up and he said that he would be calling back tomarrow. He said the bill was something like 2,000.00 and I could pay 20.00 a month, I told him I couldn't afford it and hung up on him.
