I don't have an issue paying a bill, particularly if I incurred the debt - - I will pay what I can. My problem is that Capio Partners and other bottom-feeder collection agencies keep coming after me for a debt that I paid. It is frustrating to have an agency report inaccurate information to the CRAs and then having to fight to have the situation corrected. I am seriously thinking about taking Capio Partners to court - - I can win too b/c I have a statement from the original creditor confirming the debt was paid in full. All of this drama over $70 - - it's ridiculous!

These people called me today. I usually never answer the phone if I don't know the number but today I did. They ask my name and then went on to say they were recording the call. So I told them that since I live in Pennsylvania I needed to inform them that I was recording the call Pennsylvania State Law mandates that you have to inform the party you are speaking to that you are recording them. The woman on the phone asked why I needed to record the call. I said I record all debt collections calls. She hung up. I was recording her because I can't figure out if this is legit or not. They haven't sent me a letter which always makes me suspicious if they are legitimate collectors or not.

i got a call from them today and one the other night. they did not leave a message the first time and today the message was a recording that says thank you for calling your call is very important to us please hold for the next availible assistant. i was hoping someone knew who they were.

We are also getting calls regarding a paid bill form Methodist Hospital in Houston and plabn to take lega action

I received a letter from them telling me I owed on a collections bill I paid off over 2 and a half years ago. It was settled and came off of my credit report a month or so after I paid it. I don't owe anybody money and my credit report does not show any open accounts. I sent the letter back but I wrote I already paid this in full 2 and a half years ago. They sent me a letter back signed "Collection Manager"... Not even a real name. Any business would also include a website on their letterhead. This is fake and nobody should pay any "collections" that come in the mail. Get CreditKarma.com it is free and it shows you all businesses you owe money to that report to your credit. If it is in collections it will be on your credit report.

I too received a call from this number. They don't leave any information as to who they are calling for. My number they are calling is new so I'm not sure why they would be calling me.

This shady holding company called my father at his *actual* law offices and attempted to solicit information from him pursuant to some kind of debt in my name that does not, on any plane or in any dimension, exist. Period. Pure scam. If you get a call from this number, hang up the phone or engage in innocuous banter until they hang up on you and try the next number on the list which they bought underhandedly from some social networking website. [***]. I am out of the country, have been in perfect health for years, and my family does not need this anxiety and stress. What is this economy coming to? Seriously. The FBI should set up a watch program for these kinds of situations.

they call lookinjg for a person I do not know and have never heard of. I tell them but the call back.
