i got a call from this number and it sounds very legit, this is not legit... phone scammers can spoof an actual Wells Fargo support # so it looks like they are actually calling from Wells Fargo... do not give them any info... when i told him that i wasn't giving him any info he offered to give me a number to call back into to verify they were wells fargo and actually all you would be doing is calling another one of the scammers. i called Wells Fargo's 800 number from the website and verified there was nothing needed from me on my accounts.

Got a call from what they claim to be Wells Fargo. The caller ID showed Wells Fargo's number for Bill Pay, but was left a message to call back this number (877-329-7736). When I called back, they asked for my Account number - Banks NEVER ask for full account numbers over the phone. Just in case, I hung up and called back Wells Fargo directly. They confirmed that they do not see this phone number in their system and they DO NOT ask for account numbers over the phone.This is a SCAM, please do not share your information over the phone!

This number is NOT a Wells Fargo number. All that Perry said above is correct & true.

It was from Wells Fargo. They read to me me everything about the account transaction that transpired to confirm that they were that bank.

Called Wells Fargo 800 number from their web site just to verify....It is their phone number for service for online accounts.

Just got a call from what looked like a Wells Fargo number 800-956-4442. They requested that I call 877-329-7736 for Wells Fargo Reality. I looked on-line ..and don't see a "Wells Fargo Reality" . The info above was helpful ...thanks! I will not call them back.

someone called me from this number asking about an online bill payment claim I had made through wells fargo. When they started asking me for my account number and other personal data, I got suspicious, and asked them to give me a number to call back. When I called the number, 877-329-7736, all I got was an automated message saying "We would like to get your input on a vacation survey!" Nothing to do with wells fargo or billpay.My hunch is that it is a legitmate service, however. Most banks use a third party company for online bill pay (Intuit/Quicken, I thnk) but that third party never deals directly with the public. When they do have to speak to a bank customer, they usually present themselves as an employee of that bank. It's a very standard practice, but it is confusing as heck for customers.800-956-4442 is the main Wells Fargo online services number; it's legit.

I received a call stating it was WF and she also asked for my account number. I did not provide it as they know who they are calling so why would they need your account number. I believe this is a scam.

Its Wells Fargo online bill pay claim service. I created a new payee and put the wrong P.OBox#. Sent two $507.50 payments they never recieved. After fustration faxing and checking, I realized it was the wrong P.O. Box#. I put in a claim to retrieve the two payments. A couple days later this number called with my info and fixed it and put my money back in the bank. Also recieved two emails shortly after that I never gave to the caller from my bank confirming for each claim.
