has any one had a call back from these people from Liberty processes place in concerning of any court order??? I personally think it is a scam!!!

I, have talked to several people at Liberty;Amy Clark, Bethany Newman, and left a message with Rachel. They are all rude, attempt to be threatening, and are not willing to provide the necessary infrmation I need. They are fast talking folks who have mastered the technic of not letting you say a word as they talk so quickly.. What can I do? They seem unwilling to work with you. They are saying I owe ten sixteen...not dollars.. This is how she said it to me. It is a bit threatening. But it is difficult to find info on their company. It doesn't make sense.

I called the Pennsylvania's Attorey Gerneral's office. I explained what was happening and the other complaints on line about Liberty Processing. She said they are scam artists. She suggest I file a complaint . Doing it on line is the fastest. She suggested I not answer their calls nor call them.

This is definitely a scam. I went through this a little while ago and contacted not only the state attorney office but my city and they said the following. "These are scam artists, never give them your contact or financial details on the phone and never pay them anything they are asking for. If you are worried contact your local city attorney office and ask them if their is anything filed against you. I'm betting their isn't." They also contacted my Step Son's house and threatened them, my daughter in law was sick with cancer at the time (and has since passed). This was very upsetting to them. They seem to be very good at finding people that you haven't seen or talked to in 20+ years." If their is something filed at your county office then you should talk to the county office about it. I'm betting it isn't filed their. Also, if you did have a money loan from MoneyMart, Check n Go and others like that, check your city as in San Francisco a class action suit has been won and you may be entitled to money because they legally can't get 400%+ in interest from you on a check loan. For all receiving these calls...be advised...YOU CAN NOT GO TO JAIL FOR AN OWED DEBT. There is no debtor's jail. Do NOT give these scam artist any of your info. Tell them to come arrest you, tell them you will have your local police and your attorney present when they come. Trust me...they are scam artists and WILL NOT show up.

The same thing just happened to me this same company called me saying that they were going to file misdemeanor charges for check fraud and malicious intent. Apparently the didnt know that I work for one of the largest debt purchasing companies it their legal dept and I handle civil suits asll day. So I asked her what bill it was for and who owned the debt.....she then said that no one owns it it was released to them to file charges with the county that the pay day loan was opened up in......She got upset with me when I told her that she was full of [***] because I know how this works and 1st of all you cant file criminal charges on a civil case and 2nd of all a debt has to be owned by someone in order to be collectable stupid. This also happened to me about a year ago ironically with the same payday loan but the rep told me that charges had been filed so i called the county court and they had no record of a case for me and that the story I had told them sounded like a scam. **********If a company cant tell you who owns the bill or wont send you any documentation that is a for sure sign of a scam.....and always try to get a hold of the org creditor and verify who they sold the debt to or who has the debt before you pay anything or just simply pull a credit report and it should be showing who owns the debt there***********

I just received a call from someone, and the same story as mostly all of these ridiculous phone calls...'someone you know (usually family) has a case against them'... I have continued to turn these people in for the past 3 years. Why is it taking so long for anything to be done to them? They try to scare those who do not know their rights, and they prey on innocent citizens using unbelievable, illegal, and obnoxious venues. I tell them that I know their scam, and I shall be turning in their phone number as soon as I end the call. I always tell them not to call back; requesting they take my number off their list. You rarely receive another call from the 'same' number...but you will probably receive the same scam from one of their affiliate numbers.

Yes, odd that they always seem to have the same voice, yet a different 800 number and a different name for themselves and their "company", huh? I'll bet they're all the same group of no-good-SOBS and I have be that for a long time. The interesting thing is whenever I Google the name they use, it always seems to come up as an athlete, movie director or actor. HMMMM.... One thing I hate more than anything is someone assuming I'm as dumb as them, because that, my friends, is A LONG SHOT. Sad that the internet is the greatest and at the same time, the worst invention of our age...
