calls in early ami am at work and use a cell

Got another call, this is a collections agency called Metropolitan Credit Adjusters. Yesterday, their automated caller must have malfunctioned.

I keep getting a call for someone who does not live with us, and the automated voice keeps telling me to either push a number to connect (if I answer|) or more often, they leave a message saying that it's an important call, not a sales call, and that I should call back at this number. I've gotten literaly 20 of these calls.

[***] keep calling me its so annoyingthey call at like 8am wake everyone in the house upsome ppl and their machines have no lives...

Sometimes their outgoing message recording is broken & fills up my answering machine until their message plays correctly. They identify as Metropolitan. I'm not going to bother returning a call when they don't identify what they want & don't have a real person calling me.

I have a restricted telephone number. As this is an electronically placed call by a machine with no idetifying information, I would appreciate these calls stopping.

They have been calling me every other day or so for the last 2 or 3 months looking for someone else!I see from these posts that is's a collections agency. Anyone know how to make it stop?Thanks

Been receiving this call as well. So I finally called them, turned out to be that they're looking for somebody that has teh same last name as me, but that guy has a financial problem. So I told them it's nto me, so they verified my phone (which is on their list) and my address (just give them partial address like the street numder and the street only, dont give them the Apt # in case you live in an apartment)However I'll be wary if somebody is trying to still my identity which is rampant
