I got a call from my credit union saying there was a fraudulent charge for $ 455,80 on my debit card. I did not authorize this and don't recognize the number. It was no surprise to read the following posts from other people with similar experiences.

Multiple BOGUS charges against my debit card!!! I have NOT checked out anywhere with a square card thing! My bank statement said CA & listed this number. Had to cancel my card & dispute.

Woke up to discover they had charged the card for an $1.00, that went through so they took another $100.00.

Saw 5 $250 charges on my bank for this account - all fraud. This number showed up with SQC* which is the Square Card Cash App. Obviously someone hacked my Cash App. I disputed the $1250 with my bank and emailed CashApp that this happened. I've deleted all my bank info from the app. Be careful!

that number just hit me with 25 purchases all 3 or 4 dollars not legite

I didn't receive a call from this number but I had three different charges under this number.. two Mario ricardo and the other one I can not remember the name. I keep very close track of our account and wright down what is all going out and to whom. They are small charges but that's usually how it starts. We had our account drained of over 2000 for premier movie tickets in the UK and we were no where near the UK. They donated small donations to the red cross before they drained us...

My husband was just charge 4 times from One Credit and this one below and he never left the house todayMerchant Name: SQC*CHRIS. Merchant Address: 8774174551,CATransaction Type: Signature Purchase AuthCategory: Money Transfer - Merchanton our Wells Fargo debit card. Our bank notified him right away and stopped the card and is putting the money back in account - $2500+. This was NOT legitimate!!! I think it has to do with the Chili’s Data Breach. We were there a couple weeks ago. Be careful people!!!

Just had 14 $5 charges posted on the same day in my Wells Fargo account:PURCHASE AUTHORIZED ON 05/14 SQ *JUSTIN L NUEZ 877-417-4551 NYCalled and went to bank. Charges are to be reversed. This is a world wide scam. They hacked my Square account.

My Credit Union issued, VISA debit card was charged $5.00x9 on 5/19/18 read as SQC Square Cash, San Francisco. Happened between 4:16-4:18 am. Had to wait for charges to go from pending to posted before starting the dispute process. Card was closed immediately and a new one issued.
