Its legit BOA. I got an email from assist@customerassist.bankofamerica.com offering me a settlement and asking me to call the number. i had a credit card i didnt pay and it got charged off. They offered me a settlement which I took. Its definetly a divison of BoA. The only problem was after i paid it off their system kept calling me by accident until they manually took me off the list.They are very reasonable and arent some agressive collections agency in my experience. I was glad to put the whole thing behind me.
This IS Bank of America's collection department for charged off / defaulted credit cards and I had to call THEM. I thought I got the wrong number because my account was in collections and one lady at Bank of America told me they sold it to some agency, but when I called the number she gave me they answered as "Bank of America"... I agreed to pay off my credit balance to get it off my credit report as quick as possible, and when it came out of my bank it was indeed charged from "Bank of America". You also have the option of going into any branch.Honestly people, just call and get it over with. The "I'm blocking the number" is super irresponsible. I made some mistakes when I was 18, but it's nice to pay off all my debt and not be afraid of unknown numbers calling me anymore.

Left voice mail with sound like a horn.
This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
There are 2 other numbers that are from this same number - 1-800-457-4708 and
