I received an automated message from this number saying they are Pediatric (question on spelling) medical group and given a reference number. Before calling I contacted my insurance and to see if I owed any pediatric bill and I didn't as my child's bills are paid. I called the number, gave my reference number, was asked my DOB and address, and was told none of it matched the person they are looking for so my number will be taken off the call list.

I have never spoken to an actual person when this group calls. The first time they called, an automated system told me, without any verification from me, that I owed ~$200. The automated system then said I could just give my credit card number right over the phone, so I immediately assumed they were fraudulent, but just to make sure, when it gave an option to speak to an actual representative, I opted for that, and waited on hold 15 minutes before finally hanging up. They called again today and the automated system left a voicemail asking me to call back. The worst part is I have a six month old, so I could potentially have some outstanding bill I don't know about, but what kind of business functions this way?! Not a single piece of mail, not a single live person. I'm expected to give my credit card number over the phone to a machine?? I guess I'll report back if it goes to collections, but this screams scam to me, and as it stands, I will be giving them none of my money and blocking the calls.

I received a phone call, they left a message saying i had to contact this group (no reason why, and not clear enough who they are, except some pediatric services). I called them back and after 20 min of waiting hung up. It is not clear who they are calling about and what they want. I know I don't owe anything.

Same experience. This number left me a voicemail telling me I have over $1000 outstanding balance. I just gave birth 17 days ago ad visited my baby's pediatriacian 2x since being discharged from the hospital. I was confused since it seems to be a different organization. I called my hospital and they told me I have 0 balance at this time, and 0 from my pediatrician as well. In calling back this number, they sounded ligit, but I have no connection whatsoever with this organization.

left message about pediatric debt and to call them. Have not received any sort of debt notification from doctor and not had any tests so... blocked

They are claiming I have an account with them.

same situation, I had already paid all my baby's bills... so this automated caller said I owed $400, I called my pediatrician's office, they said they never contact like that on the phone.. So this is a scam.. beware

called me multiple times, no body saying anything on the phone when I picked up. I am pregnant for months, but have not delivered ! If this number is for pediatric bill as most people report, it must be fraud, I have no kid yet !

I just found out its a company called Pediatrix, they did the unsolicited and unwanted hearing test while I was medicated, at the hospital on my newborn. Originally they tried to charge me over $200. for the test, but my insurance covered all but around $25. They were calling me to attempt to get money.

I don't answer "800 service" but I do have business outstanding with Pediatrix, so probably is their collectors...
