I am a senior who upgraded my phone with Fido and was assigned a phone # from Fido for my cell and home which are similar. I am getting constant calls for Tammy. There is no Tammy here. I keep telling them that, they don't care. As far as I'm concerned this is harassment and it is constant. My next step will be to call the Better Business Bureau,

Blocking your number to 1 800 numbers rarley work. I wrote this number down ans carry it in my wallet and everytime I pass a phone booth I call them and hang up. I do this at least six times a week.

DCA does not follow the law. I did not receive a letter from them (which they are required to send before making phone calls) but then began to receive phone calls almost every day. Learn your rights. You can fax or send them a registered letter telling them to cease all phone calls and that all communication is by mail. Also, do NOT provide ay information or talk with them as there is a statute of limitations (2 years in Ontario). However, if you acknowledge a debt, it can be reset. DCA buys old loans.
