Do not pretend they are collectors,they are just another spam scumbags. They are always looking for someone with fake name and fake file number.Just ignore [***].

Similar story (wrong name, file number quoted, never had a bill collected in my life), but interestingly enough DCA's phone number on their site is 1 866 307 5322 NOT 1 877 607 8957. Always check a legitimate source before calling the number provided (block your number using *67 before the number) and never believe what they tell you, unless they can validate you WITHOUT you providing information first (at least get your name right and tell you on behalf of whom they are collecting the money). Never shopped with the company they tell you they are collecting for? Don't give them additional information about yourself. Likely a scam.

Creditors for a person we do not know. We have been receiving calls for over two years. They call at least once a day. Called them back numerous times, and asked them to remove our number from their calling list, no luck!

Did that comment make you feel better? Just because he spelt a word wrong doesn't mean he isn't capable of owning a business. Grow up.

My sister-in-law messaged me this evening to relay a call left on her voice mail from DCA. The message was for me, Katherine M*****, with instructions to call 877-607-8957, and quote file number ZZ******. This seemed very strange because we do not have the same last name, so it was obviously not a case of the company calling every similar name in the phone book. However, I was immediately concerned because I have had debt problems in the past, but they have been resolved through a debt proposal. I know that my credit is clean now. I called the number, and proceeded to leave a message. I left my name and quoted the file number, but as I was about to give my phone number, I had second thoughts and hung up. I googled "DCA" and "877-607-8957", and found dozens of similar complaints. Unfortunately, my brother and sister-in-law may continue to get these calls for me, but I have asked them to keep me informed. I am absolutely sure this is a scam!

The caller was extremely rude, annoying, disturbing, disgusting and unacceptable!!! I counld not torlerate her anymore, terrible! awful!!!

keeps calling upto 14 times in three days leaves no message or asks for someone who i dont know. i told them to take me off there list cause the person they ask for does not live here and they just start calling from another number the next day i have had over 10 different numbers calling for the same fcuking people.

They keep calling here too and its always an automated call, not a live person. The person they name does not live here. I am fed up too
