Today, when I checked my cell, there was a 'missed call'. It was from this number 1-877-607-8957. Only about 4, maybe 5 people have my number - I don't even know what it is. It does not appear on caller display, so this has to be a random call and a scammer as well. There was no message because I don't have v.m. set up on my cell. Something should be able to be done with this cyber invasion.
I live in Alberta Canada, have no debts and do not pick up to numbers I do not recognize so I really don't know who this number belongs to. I think scammer. I recently equested a copy of my credit report and it was rated excellent.
The caller left a recorded style message "Your number has been provided by 'Jane Doe' please call us at 1-877-607-8957 in relation to an application. Please quote file number DBxxxxxxxx". First the caller does not identify themselves or who they represent, secondly we do not know Jane Doe and finally they said the "File Number" so fast you couldn't understand it, probably to bait you into calling. I have no doubt that this is a scam of some type but have no plans to ever return their call so that I can prove it.

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
